London Youth Conference

Invitation to the youth of Cambridge! Across the world this summer 114 conferences are taking place for about 10,000 youth between the ages of 15 and 30, who are contributing their talents and energies to transforming society by taking action that serves the needs of their local communities. These conferences are also for those who want to contribute, but have not yet found a path of service, encouragement, or support to raise up a culture of transformation in their community.

The conferences and the period of engagement and action before and after them promise to be life-changing experiences, where deep bonds of friendship and collaboration are formed, born out of shared experiences and glimpses of what the future could hold if large groups of youth work together locally for a better society.

If you like the idea of a society with a better attitude towards the environment, gender and race equality, justice in economic affairs, the conditions for children, or anything else you think our society could do better on, please follow the link below for more information:

Please note that the deadline for registration is on 20 August, so please register as soon as possible, or contact the youth conference committee if you are interested in learning more.

Invitation – Study Circles to Build a Better World

Study Circle header

Do you often wonder what you can do to make the world a better place?

What skills do you need to serve your community more effectively?

What are the roles of spiritual qualities such as justice, kindness, and unity in daily life?

What is prayer? What role does it play?

Do we have a spiritual purpose?

Explore these questions and many more in a study circle, formed by participants from any religion or background who meet regularly in an uplifting, spiritually empowering environment to help make the world a better place. You are invited to join us in studying Reflections on the Life of the Spirit, the first book in a sequence based on excerpts from the Bahá’í Writings, which empowers each of us to walk our own path of service.

Contact us if you would like to join!

Welcome to new year!

The Cambridge University Baha’i Society would like to extend a warm welcome to new and returning students. After a successful year of activities last year, we are excited by what we have to offer this year. There will be regular devotional/discussion gatherings to draw inspiration from the revealed Word of God in the Baha’i Writings and the Writings of other Faiths. Additionally, we have invited Baha’i scholars and professionals to speak about and share insights into elements of the Baha’i Faith from creating a new world civilization to walking the spiritual path to the relationship between science and religion. Please see our term card for details of our activities. We look forward to meeting you!
